What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at Connect Search, LLC?
A fast growing wealth management firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the entire advisory fee billing process. This person will also manage a newly created team dedicated to risk management, finance integration, governance (billing) and internal controls.
Hybrid Role - In Office 2x/Week (Downtown - Chicago Loop)
Keys / Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
- Financial services industry background
- Service-oriented mindset
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Custodial systems experience
- 10 years of similar experience
- 5 years management experience
- 3 years of governance implementation experience
Responsibilities:
- Run point and oversee advisory fee billing to include processing & refunding fees and managing client adoptions & terminations
- Execute analysis and test runs (billing) to ensure proper setup
- Educate and expand team's understanding of billing governance, advisory fees, and finance integration
- Adhere to timelines regarding due diligence, onboarding, internal communications, and reporting
- Prepare and present integrations and billing governance findings to management
- Resolve exceptions, make exceptions as necessary, and track accordingly; make sure service-level-agreements are met; ensure remediation by tracking accordingly (full cycle)
- Uphold regulatory standards, ensure compliance, and assist with both internal and external audits throughout the year
