Responsibilities
- Create production orders in the manufacturing plant, considering many factors such as equipment load, available capacity and material availability.
- Review of production work center capacity restraints to reschedule or outsource.
- Expedite production orders past due in production phase or due to date improvement requests by customers.
- Review and act on manufacture order exception reports generated by the SAP system.
- Process order improvement requests from various departments to meet customer demands.
- Monthly increase & decrease demand reports for manufacture parts to determine new trends and adjust safety stock and lot size settings.
- Daily review for safety stock and min lot size on manufacture parts.
- Provide support for special projects within the department by completing assessments, utilizing historical records from SAP to determine proper safety stock and lot size to manage inventory levels.
- Perform weekly and monthly KPI reporting.
