Job Title: Metallurgical Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Metallurgical Engineer to join our metallurgy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining metallurgical requirements for orders, providing technical support to internal and external customers, and assisting or leading continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain melting, pouring, and heat treatment procedures in conjunction with the operations team.
- Investigate casting issues and innovate solutions to metallurgical problems throughout the casting process.
- Translate material requirements into manufacturing and test plans based on purchase order specifications.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position requires US Citizen status due to access to sensitive information/materials.
