Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, budgeting, and design coordination for projects. In this role, you’ll guide preconstruction efforts, support project teams, and ensure accurate cost models, schedules, and project scopes.
Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction activities, including estimating, cost modeling, and design support.
- Perform quantity take-offs and evaluate subcontractor pricing.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and scopes.
- Mentor estimators and collaborate with trade partners, engineers, and designers.
- Record final estimates and maintain cost history for future projects.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 10 years in preconstruction within commercial construction.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, OST, DESTINI Estimator, BIM360.
- Experience in multi-family, medical, or cold storage construction.
- Established industry relationships in the Great Lakes region.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and procurement.
- Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $137,000 - $171,250 per year, plus potential incentives.
