We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the construction a new and exciting project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing multi-story, metal frame buildings, ideally with some prior experience in the storage sector. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to overseeing the construction process from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of the project.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring all work is completed to high standards and within the project schedule.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to project plans, budgets, and specifications.
- Collaborate with the project management team to address any challenges or changes during construction.
- Maintain regular communication with the Director and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site crews, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage project logistics, including material procurement and equipment handling.
- Track project milestones and ensure that all deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent, with a strong background in multi-story, metal frame construction.
- Previous experience in storage facility construction is highly preferred, though not required.
- Familiarity with Florida building codes and construction regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
