What are the responsibilities and job description for the Load Builder position at Connect Staffing?
MINIMUM 1 YEAR RECENT GENERAL LABOR OR CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing, Inc. is currently looking to fill load builder positions for a lumber company in Riverside, CA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday some Saturday's required
- 1st shift: 6:30 AM - 6:30pm
Requirements of the Load Builder position:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Need to be comfortable with working in an outside environment
- Prior experience staple guns or nail guns is required
- Must be able to be a team player
- Prior experience in roles such as general laborer, forklift driver, construction, demolition, framing, material handler, loader/unloader, or lumper is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Load Builder worker:
- Strategically place wood to build a secure load
- Band loads tight to ensure that nothing will fall out
- Catch lumber coming out of quick chops/re-stack lumber
- Sweep work area
