Business Analyst
6 Months Contract
Hybrid (Austin, Texas- 2 days in the office, and the other days working from home)
General Description:
Performs senior-level systems analysis work. This role deliverables include the gathering, development and documentation of user and functional stories for Agile development. The role requires enough technical acumen to research problems in the legacy system using PeopleTools/Code, SQL, etc. Candidate is expected to be able to apply analytical skills to various business and technical processes with emphasis on data migration and data management
Functional Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate would have experience on data conversion projects; has been a hands-on project team member, and have experience as a functional resource; including experience researching processing requirements between systems – both upstream and downstream. Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS is a plus.
• Coordinate cross team analysis of existing application, destination application and ETL.
• Identify user and system requirements and document user stories for SCRUM development
• Identify root cause of data problems and recommend solutions
• Identify process or project risk and suggest mitigation
• Work with outside vendors and contractors to facilitate service delivery
• Lead and coordinate change management process in SCRUM
Preferred requirements:
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification(s).
• Functional experience with PeopleSoft HRMS, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, and/or Payroll.
• Project Team experience utilizing Agile Methodologies

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Skills:
3 Years - Experienced in gathering and documenting requirements and user stories in Agile enviroment
5 Years - Strong SQL skills, ability to write and execute advanced SQL in both Oracle and SQL Server
5 Years - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
10 Years - Working in Information Technology
Preferred skills
Ability to manage a Scrum or Kanban team
Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops preferred
Experience in having worked on prior implementations/conversions from a legacy system. Additional
consideration given for PeopleSoft experience
Experience with Defined Benefit Pension Plans preferred
Defined Benefit Pension Plan knowledge to understand data requirements and use
Experience with Base Benefits or Benefits Administration systems
Experience with Pension Administration systems
Experience with Payroll Systems
Provide troubleshooting for isolating functional / technical problems within the PeopleSoft application
Demonstrated superior, current hands-on functional experience in one or more of the following
PeopleSoft modules:
HRMS, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, Payroll
