Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Provide technical expertise in IT infrastructure and network administration for multiple clients working both on-site and remotely

Administer and maintain computer systems (PC and Mac), network infrastructure, VPN, backup solutions, and VOIP

Design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of applications, servers, storage, and network solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud.

Management, configuration, and deployment of firewalls, switches and other networking equipment

Monitor clients systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide strategic recommendations for optimal performance and continual uptime

Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal operational disruption

Respond to escalated help desk tickets communicate effectively with clients through scheduling work, providing status updates and solution progress

Maintain cybersecurity best practices and keep current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Create and update documentation related to projects, procedures and best practices

Manage internal and external IT projects on scope and budget

Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications :

5 years of IT related experience; Managed Services Provider experience a plus

Installation, management and maintenance of server operating systems with strong knowledge of troubleshooting server issues

Experience with VMware and Hyper-V

Proven ability to setup, configure, and troubleshoot business class firewalls

Microsoft 365 Administration experience

Experience with Windows PowerShell or other scripting knowledge, multifactor authentication, virtual networking, VOIP are preferred

Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service

Enthusiasm for working in a team environment

Organized, detail-oriented and professional verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated, dependable and passionate about technology

Certification (CompTIA Network , Security , MCSE, MCSA, CCNA) a plus
