Job Description:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg unit, ensuring all treatments and medications are administered correctly.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, post-operative care, and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and EMR systems.
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during challenging health situations.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Experience in a Med/Surg unit or similar acute care setting is highly desirable.
