Location: Andover, KS
Position Type: Direct Hire
Shift: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), Every Other Weekend Required
Shift & Weekend Differential: $4.00/hr for 7p-7a shifts and weekends (11:00 PM Friday - 11:30 PM Sunday)
Holiday Differential: 50% of base rate for 6 major holidays. Differentials stack.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed assessments of patients' clinical condition, including diagnostic test results and patient responses.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with the treatment plan and within the scope of applicable practice.
- Educate patients and families on illness management, treatment options, and recovery.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient responses.
- Contribute to educational activities to improve clinical skills and knowledge in the ICU setting.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies and procedures at all times.
- Required: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma (if completed before the 1980s)
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing
- Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 6 months of hire
- Preferred Certifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- Required: Two years of ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
