Local Travel Urology Clinic RN - Watford City, ND (13 Weeks Contract)

Job Summary:

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Local Travel Urology Clinic RN for a 13-week contract assignment in Watford City, ND. This position offers weekly compensation up to $3,000 based on experience. Job Description:

As a Urology Clinic RN in Watford City, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with urological conditions. You will be working in a busy clinic setting and will be expected to perform various procedures, including catheter insertion and removal, leg bag changes, and handling suprapubic tubes. Your role will involve working closely with urologists, assisting in patient management, and ensuring the comfort and safety of your patients.

• Perform catheter insertion and removal for patients with urological conditions.
• Change leg bags and provide education on proper leg bag care.
• Assist with the insertion and removal of suprapubic tubes.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
• Provide patient education on urological conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
• Document patient care, procedures, and treatment plans in the clinic’s electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide post-procedure care instructions.
• Work collaboratively with the urology team, including physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure the clinic is well-stocked and equipment is maintained for safe and effective patient care.
• Respond promptly to patient concerns and requests, providing a high level of patient service and education.
  
  

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of North Dakota.
• At least 1 year of urology nursing experience or equivalent experience in a related clinical setting.
• Comfortable with catheter insertion and removal, leg bag changes, and managing suprapubic tubes.
• Comfortable with assisting the provider with procedures.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a urology clinic, outpatient care setting, or hospital urology department.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a healthcare team.
  
  

Compensation:

• Weekly compensation up to $3,000 based on experience.
