Job Description
The Payroll Analyst supports the Payroll department by monitoring, managing and resolving all incoming requests for correction. The Payroll Analysis supports payroll processing by performing data entry, reconciliations and analysis as needed to ensure deadlines are met and paychecks are accurate.

Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Associate or Payroll Coordinator. Experience with large payroll volume (> 1,000 employees) and multi-state experience preferred. Hands on experience with Kronos and Enterprise ADP preferred. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

The Payroll Analyst supports the Payroll department by monitoring, managing and resolving all incoming requests for correction. The Payroll Analysis supports payroll processing by performing data entry, reconciliations and analysis as needed to ensure deadlines are met and paychecks are accurate.
Responsibilities
- Review Time and Attendance records and correct inaccuracies.
- Prepare and submit all necessary files for tax deductions, benefits and garnishments.
- Analyze compensation related data including wages, bonuses and retroactive calculations.
- Prepare reconciliation reports to ensure Payroll, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and EPSI reports are in balance.
- Prepare tax filings as required.
- Verify payroll accrual for hours and dollars are accurate and transmitted for month end close.
- Monitor Payroll mailbox and voice mail to categorize and prioritize all requests for Payroll adjustments and corrections.
- Research each request, analyze required corrections/ adjustments and prepare for payroll processing. Responsible for communicating with requestors to resolve their questions and concerns.
- Compile data for audits as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- As or BS in Accounting, Human Resources or relevant field preferred and/or equivalent relevant payroll experience (3- 5 years).
- CPP preferred
- Knowledge of: Wage Garnishments, Short Term Disability, Time and Attendance, Payroll, Wage and tax laws, multi-state payroll experience.
- Skills: Advanced Excel, Preferred Kronos and ADP experience. Analytical skills. Time Management.
- Ability to: Work independently, communicate, prioritize, problem solve.
