Job Title: Clinical Therapist/Counselor
Location: Wolcott, CT (In-Person & Telehealth)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a self-motivated and dependable Clinical Therapist/Counselor to provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients facing mental health and substance use challenges. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional who values collaboration, ethical care, and evidence-based treatment while bringing genuine compassion and a client-centered approach to their work.
We welcome applications from fully licensed clinicians as well as Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPC-As) who are looking for a supportive environment to grow and gain valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including intakes, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and other appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with internal and external professionals to coordinate client care.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.
- Engage in community outreach and professional networking as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure: Must hold one of the following in Connecticut: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC, or LPC-A (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate).
- Experience: Strong background in treating mental health and substance use disorders.
- Skills & Attributes:

- Dependable and able to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
- Compassionate and client-focused approach to therapy.
- Proficiency in therapy techniques, client assessment, and ethical standards.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time, up to 20 clinical hours per week (non-benefited position).
- Scheduling includes in-person and telehealth options.
- Flexible schedule — clinicians have the autonomy to create their own work schedule to best meet both client needs and personal preferences.
- Evening availability is required to accommodate clients' needs outside of regular business hours.
- Opportunity for full-time hours after a trial period, based on performance and business needs.
