What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Inventory Technician position at Connection?
Connection has an amazing opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an IT Inventory Technician in Waukegan, IL. This is a 3-month contract opportunity with the possibility to extend longer.
This is an onsite contract position in Waukegan, IL. Hours are M-F 8AM-5PM.
Hourly rate is $25 / hr.
This is an inventory role working with IT equipment in a warehouse environment.
- Managing and tracking all inventories.
- Creating tickets and updating multiple systems.
- Tracking product through various processes such as deployment, repair and disposal.
- Conducting inventory cycle counts.
- Completing all inventory counts thoroughly (scanning and tracking every device).
- Ability to work independently with very little supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed, lots of walking around.
- Basic computer and applications knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel) and ability to learn the company inventory / asset systems.
- Individual must be able to work well in a warehouse style environment.
- Candidates must also have a strong attention to detail.
