South Carolina Connections Academy (SCCA) is a tuition-free, K–12 online public school. The school was launched in 2008–09 under contract to the South Carolina Connections Academy Charter School. SCCA is South Carolina’s very first virtual charter school, authorized by the Erskine Charter School District. The school serves students in grades K–12 from anywhere in South Carolina. Ninety-three percent of all Connections Academy parents rated the program an “A” or “B” for the 2018-2019 school year.

They assist in the tracking of student data, focusing on College and Career Readiness metrics, as well as meeting reporting requirements from the district and state.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with PowerSchool to ensure seamless integration and accuracy of data
- Work with the counseling team to monitor and improve college readiness metrics
- Organize and lead informational sessions on college readiness exams
- Focus on Work-Based Learning (WBL), ASVAB, and WIN assessments to support seniors not meeting college readiness benchmarks
- Assist in tracking and coordinating the assessment components of CTE programs
- Ensure key College and Career Readiness metrics are updated in the appropriate portals
- Develop and manage "How-To Hubs" for key technologies (PowerBi, Google, DV Exports etc.)
- Roster for outside programs (Clever, IReady, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Accountability to develop tracking systems and analyze data trends
- Meet regularly with high school, counseling and special services leadership teams to identify and address their specific data needs
- Create, share, and present clear and actionable data reports to faculty and staff, supporting informed decision-making
- Develop proficiency in data systems to efficiently export results and facilitate team discussions
- Collaborate with assessment on accountability metrics and facilitate make-up testing
- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in education, data analytics, statistics, educational leadership, or a related field.
- Experience working with student information systems and data analysis tools, including Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, and other reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with College and Career Readiness metrics and assessment administration, tracking, and reporting processes.
- Ability to extract, clean, and analyze data from student information systems and assessment platforms.
- Self-motivated with strong multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and applying state and district reporting requirements.
