Speech Language Pathologist

We are a small business in Bellingham, WA. We are professional, agile and our goal is to help every child develop communication, feeding, and physical skills during a time of fun, play-based therapy. We have a strong belief that every treatment plan should be individualized for our clients and their families. We offer comprehensive evaluations and on-going therapy in a friendly, child-centered manner. Family involvement is encouraged for on-going development of skills in the home environment.

Duties:

• Provide thorough evaluations for children using standardized evaluation and screening tools
• Develop, implement and manage individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
• Answer caregiver questions & provide at-home tools
• Monitor and maintain documentation progress of patients throughout the treatment process
• Collaborate with staff and other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and educators, to develop cohesive delivery of services
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
• Comply with federal and state therapy regulations

Requirements:

• Master's Degree Eligible for WA Licensure
• ASHA Certification, CCC, or CFY
• Previous experience with children and in a clinical or educational setting is preferred
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and assessment techniques for speech and language disorders
• Strong time management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour

Full-time/Part-time
