We are helping our client, and IT services provider, to identify a Consultant to join their team to help execute a high profile project with an enterprise level client.
This role is responsible for assisting with the implementation of Microsoft Windows 11 and Office 365 Applications across a large enterprise organization. This role will work closely with the system engineering team to develop processes and procedures for successful operating system upgrades, domain migrations and profile migrations. This role will work as a member of highly skilled infrastructure management team that service employees throughout the state of Louisiana. The role requires on-site support at the client’s offices in Baton Rouge, LA.
Responsibilities:
- Operating System Upgrade and Migration: Perform system upgrades from Windows 10 to Windows 11, including domain migration and profile migrations.
- Migration Tools and Processes: Ability to utilize migration tools from Quest and Microsoft for these services. Provide feedback to engineering team on the tools and process to improve the efficiency and user experience of this project.
- End User Experience: Ability to communicate with the end users prior to, during and post migration activities. Help users understand how to access their data and applications after the migration of their profile and device.
The role requires on-site support at the client’s office in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a one-year project for a W-2 temporary employee. It may be possible to extend beyond one year.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with the Microsoft Operating Systems and Office 365 suite of applications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 suite and its administration.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including end user devices, servers and networks
- Experience with direct end user support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certifications, CompTIA Security ) are a plus.
