Summary
U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies has an opening in Toledo, OH for a Staff Accountant to assist the Controller in all aspects of the organization's accounting functions. This individual must be comfortable working in a small company setting and be willing to assist in all aspects of the job from financial analysis to product/cost analysis.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform accounting functions to support management.
- Assist Controller with various audits and other projects.
- Review of customer orders for proper treatment of Revenue 606.
- Prepare month-end Revenue 606 analysis in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and enter monthly journal entries into General Ledger.
- Maintain company's leases in Lease Query software based on corporate guidelines.
- Communicate lease information to corporate personnel.
- Prepare and report month-end intercompany transaction schedule.
- Review of daily sales with cost report.
- Prepare and analyze various month-end and quarter-end schedules.
- Prepare various reconciliations including month-end.
- Assist other area managers with monthly KPI reporting.
- Back-up for AP and AR functions including credit card processing.
- Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies and investigate questionable data.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Three to five years of relevant experience, including familiarity with general principles of accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP systems, Great Plains and/or Business Central a .
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with employees of all levels, including Connectronics Corp and HEICO senior management.
- Highly responsive to requests with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be flexible and able to multi-task in a time sensitive environment.
