What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Robert Half?
Robert Half is working with a growing company in the Fremont area with 2 openings. One for a Sr. Staff Accountant and the other is a Cost Accountant.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a business partner to the corporate finance team
• Routinely process key financial transactions and analyze financial results.
• Maintain flexibility in taking on new challenges & responsibilities.
• Day to Day technical accounting functions
• Use software such as Microsoft Excel, Epicor, and QuickBooks to perform tasks related to account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger management, and journal entries.
• Understand and apply GAAP Accounting principles in all tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 5 or more years of experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ideal knowledge in Sales and Use Tax or Cost and Inventory knowledge.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
