We are searching for a Staff Accountant to join our workforce in Archbold, Ohio. As a Staff Accountant, you will be aiding our business in making crucial financial choices, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and keeping our financial records accurate. You will be cross-trained in various cash cycle areas to boost the performance of our finance department.Responsibilities• Assist in ensuring the integrity of financial records through monthly and annual account reconciliations.• Assist with treasury functions including managing positive pay exceptions, foreign wires and ACH payments, and check voids.• Handle the company's purchase card program effectively.• Ensure accurate financial reporting by creating and posting necessary journal entries.• Complete and file state sales, use tax returns, and Canadian GST returns diligently.• Compile necessary information for various compliance reporting.• Create weekly vendor payment files.• Develop proficiency in vouchering invoices and navigating state sales tax websites and various portals.• Aid in the month-end close, financial and tax audits, and ensure financial records are accurate throughout the year.
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
