Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, operate warehouse equipment, and navigate designated routes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or delivery vehicle to transport goods to assigned locations.
• Load and unload products using a pallet jack or forklift as necessary.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to scheduled routes.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during delivery.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures and equipment operation (pallet jack, forklift).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
• Strong route driving skills with a good understanding of local roadways.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must be able to pass any required background checks or screenings related to employment.
