Department : Claim Consulting Services Department
Job Summary : Responsible for providing exceptional claims and risk management customer service to clients of Conner Strong & Buckelew. The Claim Consulting Services Department services clients from the following disciplines : Life Sciences, Healthcare, Construction, Manufacturing, OCIP's, Public Entity, Education, Social Services, Hospitality & Gaming, Real Estate and Professional Services .
Principal Responsibilities :
- Functions as integral member of client's claim & risk management team.
- Is a liaison between client and carrier.
- Creates a specific "Claim Service Plan" for each client.
- Creates and Negotiates with Carrier / TPA or Wholesaler the specific Special Claim Servicing
- Requirements unique to each client.
- Builds a relationship with each of their clients.
- Provides client advocacy to ensure the best result for the client.
- Conducts analysis on each claim for financial impact to client and company.
- Manages multiple lines of coverage for each and every client.
- Acts as a subject matter expert with claims issues
- Works independently and makes independent decisions based on broader knowledge level.
- Develops close working relationship with Account Team members, Senior Account
- Executive, Account Executive, Account Manager, CSR and Production personnel.
- Provides Account Team with Pre-Renewal, New Business claim materials, including data
- analysis.
- Accompanies Account Team members on prospect calls when necessary.
- Position may require overnight travel.
- Is a liaison for Conner Strong & Buckelew with the various carriers, wholesalers and third
- party administrators and outside vendors with whom we interact.
