Job Summary: Responsible for timely & accurate preparation of financial reports to provide useful information to Management for review & decision making.
Principal Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Prepare and post month end accruals.
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries and system reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly budgets and professional fee schedules
- Provide support to third party professionals in their monthly reconciliation processes.
- Participate in financial meetings and requests within and outside of the organization.
- Accounting Department Representative for company committees and special projects.
- Attend meetings as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- BS in Accounting or Finance required; CPA track preferred.
- Three or more years in public accounting or corporate accounting/finance experience.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with advanced level of Excel and Access skills.
- Extensive experience with reconciliations preferred.
- Budgeting experienced preferred.
- Solid grasp of accounting principles and practices with the ability to apply them to diverse situations.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Persuasive and professional verbal and written communication skills.
