Description
To provide support and daily processing for all core processing platforms. The role is responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing procedures for repeated processing processes for the core platform. Responsible for ensuring detailed and accurate system integration, uptime and disaster recovery / business continuity planning.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities (includes the following, and other duties may be assigned):
- 70%- Work internally and with other departments to continually update and improve the Core Processing platforms to match business needs. Perform periodic (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) administrative duties on Core Processing platforms. Partner with the AVP Core Technology to ensure that new products, services and integrations are fully tested, functioning to the specification and recoverable. Responsible for Application systems including patching and maintaining the Core Processing platform (Release Summary, Regulatory Changes, and testing/validation).
- 20%- Assists and helps guide enterprise projects to completion. Acts as a project resource for critical implementations that require Core integration.
- 10%- Performs other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements (if applicable):
- Ensures the credit union is meeting member and industry needs with appropriate products and services while correctly anticipating usage levels to ensure proper contractual design.
- Ensures there are no compliance or regulatory issues on the Core Processing platform (including data).
- The ability to work independently.
- To provide friendly, professional and accurate customer service and support to all departments and associates.
- Anticipates system and network risks and assures adequate safeguards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 7 years’ experience with Fiserv DNA, Document Imaging systems, Fiserv Spectrum, HP-UX, Eloquence, Automic, and Pathways (or equivalent Core Processing Platform experience) is mandatory.
- Experience in both On-Premises environment and Hosted environment for the Core Processing Platform is preferred.
- A degree (A.S. or B.S.) in Computer Science, or appropriate industry experience.
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments is mandatory.
- Knowledge of computer security is preferred.
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
- The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job requiring diplomacy and trust.
- Experience with banking core platforms is mandatory.
- Experience with banking mobile and online platforms is preferred.
- Experience with scripting languages and report writing is preferred.
- Ability to discuss complex technical issues effectively.
- Ability to solve complex analytical or project related problems.
- On call rotation and work after hours and/or weekends when needed.
Salary : $60,056 - $75,070
