Description

To provide support for all core processing platforms. This role is responsible for supporting the coordination and execution of strategic projects. Responsible for being the subject matter expert within the product and/or service, from project creation to completion. Responsible for ensuring detailed and accurate system integration, and disaster recovery / business continuity planning.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities (includes the following, and other duties may be assigned):

• Work internally and with other departments to continually update and improve the Core Processing platforms to match business needs.
• Ensure that new products, services and integrations are fully tested, functioning to the specification and recoverable. 
• Responsible for DNA Data Center Release implementations with all departments (Summary, Regulatory Changes, and testing/validation). Provide business analysis of assigned applications.
• Identify weaknesses, recommend solutions, and implement corrections. Stay abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to, changes in regulations, technology, etc.
• Guide enterprise projects to completion and act as a project resource for critical implementations that require Core integration.
• Document all policies and procedures, post in shared environment, and cross train other IT members as needed and be available to be cross-trained.
• Assist AVP Core Technology when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements (if applicable):

1. Ensures the credit union is meeting member and industry needs with appropriate products and services while correctly anticipating usage levels to ensure proper contractual design.
2. Ensures there are no compliance or regulatory issues on the Core Processing platform (including data).
3. The ability to work independently.
4. To provide friendly, professional and accurate customer service and support to all departments and associates.
5. Anticipates system and network risks and assures adequate safeguards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 7 years’ experience with Fiserv DNA, Document Imaging systems (or equivalent banking Core Processing Platform experience) is mandatory.

Experience in both On-Premises environment and Hosted environment for the Core Processing Platform is preferred.

• A degree (A.S. or B.S.) in Computer Science, or appropriate industry experience.
• Experience with Project Management is mandatory.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments is mandatory.
• Knowledge of computer security is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Database Architecture and Management.
• Experience with scripting languages and report writing is mandatory.
• A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. 
• The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job requiring diplomacy and trust.
• Experience with banking mobile and online platforms is preferred.
• Ability to discuss complex technical issues effectively.
• Ability to solve complex analytical or project related problems.
• Ability to organize priorities and complete projects by assigned deadlines.
• On call rotation and work after hours and/or weekends when needed.

Salary : $68,619 - $85,774
