What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Sales Engineer position at Connex Ecommerce?
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. You will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Work with existing customers to ensure our software functions properly.
- Work with prospective customers by phone and email to answer technical questions.
- Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers
- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
- Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
- Assist marketing with prospective customer outreach tasks.
- Liaison between software developers, sales, and customers to solve technical problems.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a sales engineer, software developer, or technical support role.
- At least 1 - 2 years' of work experience in eCommerce, QuickBooks and data syncing software.
- At least 1 - 2 years' of work experience with a SaaS company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
- HubSpot experience is a nice to have.
