Connext’s Vice President (VP), Technology Solutions, will be the company’s first technology evangelist, providing market insights on existing and emerging technologies that directly support Connext’s vision and goals. The VP, Technology Solutions will be the internal subject matter expert (SME) for new solutions and will work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing and Customer Services teams to

About The Role
Connext’s Vice President (VP), Technology Solutions, will be the company’s first technology evangelist, providing market insights on existing and emerging technologies that directly support Connext’s vision and goals. The VP, Technology Solutions will be the internal subject matter expert (SME) for new solutions and will work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing and Customer Services teams to
effectively position our solutions and services, differentiating our offerings from our competition.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships:
- Create and launch focused technology solutions and services that provide positive value and outcomes to our customers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with partnerships across our key market industries and verticals, as well as create new opportunities.
- Aggressive Growth Plan Leadership Capabilities:
- Lead our solution and service offerings for existing, new and emerging technologies and evolve our offerings to meet customer satisfaction.
- Innovation:
- Define and then expand new and emerging solutions and service offerings (i.e.
- Automation, AI, IoT, Physical and Cyber Security) to both new and existing customers
- Market Insights:
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the key market segments and industries we serve, including engagement with all segments of the marketplace, and with Connext’s new perspective and existing customers and partners.
- Champion ongoing competitive, market, and user research and analysis to ensure both Connext solution and service offerings, and partnership decisions, are based on sound use of both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Report regularly to leadership on critical or relevant industry innovations, emerging technologies, customer business issues and needs, market trends, and regulatory matters.
- Partner with our Customer Engagement and Marketing Team to drive and manage Connext solution and service offering content creation to build awareness and connectivity among thought leaders in Connext’s key markets and industry.
- Evangelize Connext’s products, solutions and services at industry conferences, symposiums and with key clients and partners.
- Solutions & Services:
- Drive innovation across the Connext solution suite, identifying and defining solutions that anticipate changing customer and market environments.
- Drive the analysis and proposal of new solutions requirements and prepare revenue and margin projects along with return-on-investment analysis.
- Partner with the Marketing team to create sales collateral (i.e. presentations, data sheets, case studies)
- Train and support the sales team and channel partners to articulate Connext solution positioning and advantages.
- Technology Partners:
- Establish and cultivate strong, revenue producing relationships with existing and emerging technology providers and partners, ensuring Connext’s overall solution or service offering fit, usability, adoption, and satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate product status and plans through
- Engage in and develop relationships with outside Solution Advisors or Technology Partners to assist with differentiating Connext’s solutions and service offerings in the marketplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on solution development and implementation
- Strong understanding of software development, cloud technologies, data analytics, and enterprise architecture.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Travel 50% time
