Responsibilities:
- Review scope of work and resources, specs, and design.
- Install raceways, conduit, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards and customer system requirements.
- Mount, terminate and tag controls equipment as needed.
- Provide job site conflict resolution regarding installation issues or escalate to appropriate management.
- Provide detailed daily updates to management regarding job requirements, progress, and issues.
- Participate in pre-Integration engineering on some sales projects.
- Have a working knowledge of Honeywell Webs or similar Niagara-based control systems.
- Have a working knowledge of Johnson Metasys - N2 Bus/Johnson FX40.
- Have a working knowledge of LAN and WAN s including Routers, IPs.
- Provide technical support and perform other related duties as needed.
- Some on site field engineering/commissioning may be required for Integration/Control projects.
- 5 years of HVAC Controls experience.
- Experience with Honeywell and Johnson Controls preferred.
- Must have a clean driving record in order to operate a company vehicle.
- Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Must have good organizational skills, written and communication skills.
- Appearance must be clean, neat and professional at all times.
- Ability to climb and work off ladders, climb extension ladders to roof.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, to extend arms over head to facilitate installation of product.
- OSHA 10 preferred.
- Niagara Certification Preferred.
- Willingness to work occasional overnight and out-of-town projects as needed to meet project requirements and expectations.
