Position Summary :
The Desktop Support Administrator role involves providing comprehensive support for end-user computing needs, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of desktop systems across the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Desktop Support :
- Provide front-line support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals for end users.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, network connectivity, and hardware.
- Install, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals.
- Support the setup and maintenance of user accounts, email configurations, and system access.
- Manage software installations, updates, and patches.
- User Support and Training :
- Assist employees with IT-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Offer guidance and training on the use of standard software applications and tools.
- Maintain a knowledge base for common issues and solutions.
- System Administration :
- Assist in managing and maintaining IT systems, such as Active Directory, SharePoint, file servers, and cloud services (User permissions, user access maintenance).
- Ensure compliance with ConServe security policies and best practices.
- Asset Management :
- Track and manage hardware and software inventory.
- Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Collaboration and Documentation :
- Work closely with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations across systems and networks.
