Consilio's Direct Hire division is hiring a litigation assistant on behalf of a law firm in Los Angeles. They are seeking a skilled Litigation Assistant to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various legal tasks and possess a strong understanding of litigation processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Assist with case management and project management for litigation matters
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence
- Support attorneys in trial preparation
- Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes
- eFiling in State and Federal court
