Consolidated Asset Management Services (“CAMS”) is seeking to hire an Asset Management Intern for Summer 2025. At CAMS, we provide value-added services for some of the largest financial institutions, independent power producers, manufacturers, and private equity firms in the world. We maintain and manage safe, reliable, and efficient facilities while constantly looking for opportunities to enhance sustainability, improve performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency to meet and exceed client expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing and implementing an annual operating budget and business plan that meets the owner’s objectives, and subsequently tracking financial and plant operational variances.
- Assist in maintaining a detailed understanding of the financial, technical and commercial contracts
- Ensuring compliance with the reporting and other requirements of those contracts.
- Assist in maintaining an active, on-going understanding of wholesale market fundamentals and assigned RTO/ISO protocols.
- Learn how to monitor and analyze key performance indicators of a project and reports to owners and/or relevant business partners.
- Learn how to create and manage Excel models for various purposes, including budgeting, settlements, invoices and financial analysis of various project opportunities.
- Support the asset management team in the performance of asset valuations associated with project dispositions at the end of the compliance period.
