What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem Billing Coordinator position at Consolidated Chassis Management, LLC?
Position Summary:
The Per Diem Billing Coordinator will provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate billing of accounts under their control. The position will report to the Supervisor, Per Diem Billing and will assist in preparing billing runs and distributing invoices, addressing customer inquiries and lending support to fellow team members.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize CCM’s proprietary billing system to execute weekly and monthly billing runs for per diem chassis usage for multiple companies
- Pre-billing requiring data analysis to identify and report system issues that affect customer invoicing
- Reconcile Billing runs to usage data to ensure billing accuracy
- Ensure successful email delivery of invoices
- Maintain billing system setups and updates as needed
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Communicate with customers
- Identify process efficiencies
- Assist with billing system enhancements to include testing and research
- Provide administrative support to the finance team
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree is preferred but not required
- Industry relevant experience (Transportation/Intermodal/Logistics) preferred
- Experience in billing, accounts receivable, data entry, customer service
- Proficient in relevant computer applications (MS Office, Excel)
- Ability to analyze data and problem-solve
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational skills
