Core Responsibilities- Review training requirements by Construction Department for generation of required classes and hours by job title.
- Provide direction and guidance related to training requirements and administrative activities to Construction. Seek opportunities to drive efficiencies and implement strategic initiatives.
- Oversight of the Construction Organization License monitoring program, and conducting of the yearly driver review
- Use technology and new deployment of corporate training systems to complete training coordinator job functions.
- Review area from process improvements in the area of technology and increasing the digital landscape.
- Order training supplies and materials to enhance instruction program
- Maintain all training schedule that includes all areas of Construction Organization.
- Organize training sessions with customers and The Learning Center (TLC)
- Consults with organization and managers to assess training needs.
- Assist in the Onboarding of new hires and train them in our policies and procedures
- Produce status reports and send directly out department supervisor.
- Attend Staff meetings to provide updates to upper management
- Work closely with the Construction Management Team to proactively drive positive changes to the internal and external business processes involved in the work of the Department.
- Coordinate various administrative activities of the department and develop processes and programs as needed.
- Performs other related assignments as required
- Participate in Contingency setup every four years
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience- Bachelor's Degree and Minimum of 2 years of work experience In Operations Management or Construction Management or Learning & Development or related or
- Associate's Degree and Minimum of 4 years of work experience In Operations Management or Construction Management or Learning & Development or related or
- High School Diploma/GED and Minimum of 5 years of work experience In Operations Management or Construction Management or Learning & Development or related
- Bachelor's Degree Business Management or related. and Minimum of 2 years of work experience In Operations Management or Construction Management or Learning & Development or related
- Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, must be a 'Self-Starter', have strong oral and written communication skills, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Required
- Ability to review union workforce training for promotional guideline process. Preferred
- Ability to run various reports from eTrain for course availability Preferred
- Ability to process ITS Gas Qualification courses for certification Preferred
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments

- Driver's License Required

- Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
