Job Title: Outside Sales
The Outside Salesperson represents CED to potential new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
- Research and analyze the local market, customer potential, and determine target accounts.
- Learn customer needs and expectations by asking questions and understanding applications to make product recommendations.
- Provide information to maximize sales.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of electrical products and their functions.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience.
- Ability to travel and make sales calls at customer locations.
- Ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English both orally and in writing.
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets CED required standards.
- MATH skills including calculating percentages, decimals, and discount multipliers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the Utility Sales Market is ideal.
Working Conditions:
Conditions vary based on customer location and may include construction, warehouse, manufacturing, office, or external environments. Some activities may include walking, standing, climbing in various conditions including extreme heat or cold.
