Summary :
Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is hiring a Management Level position, responsible for leading the warehouse operations side of our wholesale supply business. This role is in our LARGO, FL location and works from 6 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM Monday through Friday. Some overtime will occur and may be required.
This role is essential to the successful fulfilment of our sales efforts to the customers we serve in the greater Tampa Bay market each day. This job is mentally challenging and has moderate physical demand of typical warehouse activities.

Minimum Qualifications :
Requirements :
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Ability to work in warehouse without air conditioning and outside
Comfortable driving delivery vans, box trucks, and forklifts
Clean driving record
DOT physical must be completed
Thorough background check will be run
Drug screening
High School Diploma or equal
Valid Driver's License
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and associated functions
Excellent communications skills, creative problem-solving skills, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Proven work experience or clear demonstration of the ability to lead a team
Well-developed attention to details and a desire to be highly accurate
Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency
Have a desire for future opportunities and growth, with the desire to earn them
Forklift experience
Forklift certification
Warehouse experience 2 years
Supervisor / manager experience 1 year
Delivery driving experience 1 year
Working Conditions :
This job operates in a professional environment primarily in a warehouse, with frequent outside yard activities, and occasional off-site travel in company vehicles.
Performing the essential duties of this job :
May require standing, bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, and walking with repetition
May also require the ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Requires ability to understand and speak English clearly
Occasionally requires lifting or moving products and supplies up to 50 pounds unassisted
Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot / cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot / cold, rain and other seasonal conditions

Essential Job Functions :
Warehouse Responsibilities :
Pulling customer orders accurately and quickly
Unloading freight trucks using a forklift
Checking in received material
Restocking warehouse shelves with a variety of materials including spools of wire, bundles of conduit, lighting fixtures, and other electrical supplies
Cutting and spooling wire
Maintaining warehouse and delivery equipment
Organizing customer storage jobs
Overseeing and training other warehouse staff
Delivery Driver Responsibilities :
Loading delivery vehicle with material and delivering to our customer’s shop or jobsite
Picking up material from our vendors
Coordinating with sales staff and customers directly on scheduling delivery stops
Acquiring proof of delivery via signature or picture at drop off
Assisting customers with unloading as necessary while providing excellent customer service
