Job Title : AP / AR Specialist

Wage Range : Hourly

Department : Accounting

Reports to : Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary :

The AP / AR Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable for one or more business units. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that vendor invoices are entered and scheduled for payment in a timely manner. The individual will also be responsible for processing accounts receivable, and cash application in ERP system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

Accounts Payable :

• Enters vendor invoices daily to ERP system.
• Confirm receipt of items prior to payment of invoices.
• Prepare list of vendors to pay weekly.
• Schedule weekly pay run by creating ACH and printing and mailing checks.
• Uploads check information for positive pay with bank and monitors for exceptions.
• Schedule wires as needed.

The person in this position has access to various reports and records, which are considered as being of a highly confidential and classified nature. Education and / or Experience :

Pay : $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE
