Position Summary

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of operations for a Magenta LLC. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep industry knowledge, operational expertise, and a track record of driving profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Drive strategic growth and operational excellence within the medical injection molding industry
• Lead cross-functional teams with a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control strategies to drive profitability
• Develop and execute sales strategies; build and maintain strong client relationships
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure market competitiveness
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, AS9100D, and other regulatory requirements
• Foster a high-performance culture through effective hiring, mentoring, and talent development
• Champion technology adoption, including ERP/MRP systems and innovative manufacturing solutions
  
  

Experience, Qualifications, And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience in plastic injection molding or a related manufacturing industry. Working with the medical industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven experience managing P&L, budgets, and financial performance in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with ISO certifications (ISO 13485, AS9100D, etc.) and compliance standards
• Master’s degree in business administration or a related field
• Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, and other business management tools. Experience with IQMS is a significant plus
• Six Sigma certification or equivalent
• Experience with implementing new manufacturing technologies to improve operational performance
