CM&W is looking for 2nd shift Fabrication Specialists at our Hannibal, MO location. The Fabrication Specialist is responsible for fabricating various types of sheet metal parts on various machines. You’ll set up, change over, adjust, and operate assigned machines, following the specified operation sequencing while using all necessary tools and resources provided. Pay starting at $18.50 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to $23.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential.
What You'll Do:
Level I
Operate one or more fabricating machines. You’ll be responsible for the quality of your work and to check parts against company and customer specifications/drawing.
Levell II Responsible for Level I responsibilities. You’ll set up and change tooling as required, while also assisting Level I Fabrication Specialists. You’ll interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
Level III
Level III is lead position. Responsible for all Level I & II responsibilities. You’ll resolve problems in the fabricating process and effectively understand blueprints, programs, and specifications, and be able to assist Level I & II Fabrication Specialists, as well as set schedules.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to follow blueprints and drawing to guide your work.
- Ability to keep a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to comply with policies and procedures, including those related to safety.
What Helps:
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
