The EAM (Equipment Asset Management) System Engineer at ConMet is responsible for developing, administering, and maintaining the equipment and asset management (EAM) system in collaboration with maintenance, purchasing operations, and IT teams. This position will initially involve assisting in the setup and deployment of the system and eventually will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the system. The System Engineer will be managing all updates to the system for additional manufacturing equipment, employees, and inventory in order to support the effective management of equipment assets and spare inventory using the EAM system.
This role requires working in an office environment (not hybrid or remote) at ConMet's corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington. Non-local candidates must be open to relocation (relocation assistance available.
Key Duties
- Work cross-functionally with the plant team, corporate manufacturing engineering, and corporate IT to maintain update and improve EAM.
- Develop and produce cost of ownership and operating reports and data.
- Act as first-line resource to coach employees in EAM use, deploy new hardware, troubleshoot and user requests.
- Train personnel on system use.
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally required.

Compensation & Benefits
ESOP - Participation (100% company paid) in the ConMet / Amsted Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). The Company contributes 10% of considered compensation into this plan each fiscal year.
