Consolidated Pipe & Supply is a full line supplier, fabricator and manufacturer of pipe, valve, and fitting products and services to the natural gas, waterworks, energy, and industrial sectors.
Summary:
Our company is looking for an accountant that is dependable and ambitious with corporate accounting experience. Will handle all daily accounting functions and operations within the company. A/P, A/R, reconciliation, etc. Must have good verbal & written communication, client relations and computer skills. Bachelor’s Degree or solid accounting experience.
Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements):
- Prepare monthly excel and trend spreadsheets, general ledger journal entry preparation and posting
- Daily statistical reporting and scanning of documentation
- Financial statement report generation and distribution
- Entering invoices and handle phone calls from vendors and employees
- Regular attendance
- Perform work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, managers, and vendors
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience in general accounting and financial reporting
- Must be able to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision
- Must have good problem-solving skills
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, required
