Onboarding Specialist
Overview:
The Onboarding Specialist will work collaboratively with CP Support Teams, Guardian Agent Contracting & Licensing and CP Leadership under the direction of the Onboarding and Development Team Lead. The primary responsibility of the Onboarding Specialist is to provide a positive and seamless experience to candidates throughout onboarding, contracting, and broker-dealer registration.
The Onboarding Specialist position is full-time and may be onsite, hybrid, or remote.
Responsibilities*:
- Ownership of specific onboarding, contracting, and licensing tasks including the collection of required forms and documentation necessary for onboarding and compliance
- Technical tasks using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) eMoney/LBS, Bookings, Guardian Online, and other software/applications as necessary
- Internal and external communications with PAS, Guardian, CP staff, CP leadership, advisors, and candidates
- Participation in onboarding, recruiting, and other team meetings as deemed necessary
- Participation in, and completion of, assigned training
- Gaining a solid understanding of onboarding, contracting, development, licensing, reporting, procedures, and approved technology
- Completion of assigned tasks and projects; identifying resources to assist with the completion of both
- Coordination of meetings and virtual training sessions
- Tracking and reporting of attendance at training sessions and events
- Maintaining shared files and Outlook Distribution Lists
- Commitment to CP Fundamentals and to individual/organizational growth and development
- Additional onboarding and development tasks and projects as deemed necessary

Preferred Skills / Experience:
- College degree preferred
- Technical proficiency
- Demonstrated initiative, collaboration, follow-up, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a team player
- Proven skills as a communicator and relationship-builder
- Ability to provide complex administrative support with tact and diplomacy while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process driven
- Exceptional time management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and overseeing concurrent deadlines
- Professional, positive, proactive, and punctual
