Description :
Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP seeks a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join us in our Atlanta office. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage time efficiently, able to multi-task and work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Audit and review invoices and check requests submitted in Chrome River for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with firm accounting policies.
- Upload the daily auto-generated and manually exported Chrome River import invoice files into the Aderant finance system to create AP transaction vouchers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve export file transfer issues and invoice import validation and posting issues.
- Reconcile and manually input reimbursable debit card and check transactions listed on an Excel sheet submitted by each Constangy offices on a weekly basis.
- Manually record ACH and wires initiated via the Truist online portal and account debits.
- Process vendor set-up requests ensuring the accuracy and completeness of check and electronic bank remittance details and 1099 reporting compliance requirements.
- Generate daily payment selection registers for authorization in advance of check printing and ACH file creation.
- Provide backup support to upload invoice ACH payment & Positive Pay file to Truist Bank’s online portal.
- Audit expense reimbursements for proper back up and firm compliance.
- Provide backup support to complete the daily check and ACH reconciliation.
- Enter manual cost disbursements into Aderant.
- Perform other duties as required to support accounts payable and accounting
