Job Overview
Technicians will identify and resolve problems in specified appliances, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components of HVAC equipment. They will perform system work on HVAC equipment.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
- Assist in advanced HVAC or appliance repair as part of ongoing training and development.
- Complete complex administrative tasks necessary to fulfill service requests.
- Maintain Company stock and equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Advanced knowledge in tools and materials related to the service industry.
- Advanced skills in communication, sales, and customer relations.
- Advanced skill in servicing gas/electric water heaters.
Education and Qualifications
- Three to four years of work experience or an equivalent combination of time in an accredited trade or vocational training program.
- CFC certification I and II, Maryland State HVAC Journeyman License, and Gas Fitter Card.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Must have a valid Driver's license and meet Company driving standards.
- Recent convictions for crimes reasonably related to the job may disqualify applicants.
