Job Description
This role involves performing general mechanical maintenance on power plant equipment. The position requires strong maintenance skills and regular travel (80%).
- Perform maintenance and repair work on plant equipment, including disassembly, part repair or replacement, assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate strong maintenance skills on steam or gas turbines, turbine valves, reactor feed pump turbines, various pumps, balance of plant equipment, and other complex mechanical systems.
- Work efficiently and safely, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Cross-functional teamwork on major projects, communicating with station departments and vendors as needed.
- Interpret and understand power plant prints, provide technical support to operations, maintenance staff, and engineering.
