Job Responsibilities:
Operations Instructor or Sr Ops Training Instructor:
Deliver high-quality training programs to enhance station and personnel performance.
Coordinate and conduct performance-based licensed or non-licensed training programs as required by user community.
Maintain current training programs incorporating information gained from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation NERs.
Prepare trainee examinations, conduct evaluations, and recommend individualized training programs.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities (Sr Ops Training Instructor):
- Drive station and personnel performance improvement through the use of training.
- Support business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, EP duties, and special projects.
- Maintain knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques.
- Supervise the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports.
Requirements:
Operations Instructor:
Associate's degree in science/engineering or education/training with 4 years related industry experience/technical background.
Sr Ops Training Instructor:
Previous or current senior reactor operator license OR SRO Certification with 4 years related industry experience AND 6 months proven teaching in Licensed Operator Requal Training (LORT) or Initial License Trainee (ILT).
Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or education/training with 6 years commercial nuclear power plant training experience.
