Primary Purpose
This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on complex electrical control systems used in nuclear power plants. This includes inspecting, testing, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test electrical control systems to identify any defects or malfunctions
- Perform repairs and replacements as necessary to restore equipment to operating condition
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Provide training and oversight to other personnel
- Participate in emergency response activities as assigned
Requirements
- Must have satisfactorily completed an accredited power plant process controls training program or possess an associate degree in electrical technology
- Must have a minimum of 2 years power plant process controls maintenance experience
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position
- Must pass a validated aptitude test
- Must meet requirement of NRC psychological testing regulations
- Must satisfactorily complete Plant Access Training and complete the Radiation Safety Training including Respirator Qualifications and maintain unescorted access
