This Engineering role can be filled at the Entry, Mid-level or Senior Engineer level. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level.
- Provide technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Manage engineering tasks and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work.
- Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
- Entry Level E01 Engineer New Graduate:
- B.S in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Mid-level E02 Engineer:
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering and 2 years Nuclear or related engineering experience
- Senior E03 Engineer:
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering and 5 years engineering experience
- Demonstrated familiarity with Pressurized Water Reactors and their reactor vessel internals
- Demonstrated familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, specifically Sec XI
- Background in materials or materials engineering preferred
- Experience in mitigating Alloy 600
- Excellent project management skills
- Regulatory experience is preferred
