What You’ll Do

  • Lead Mechanical Design – Design, build, and test next-gen plasma emissions decarbonization systems that integrate mechanical, thermal, and electrical components.
  • Turn Ideas into Reality – Work from concept to prototype to commercial product, solving complex engineering challenges along the way.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines – Partner with electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Develop & Test Breakthrough Tech – Build high-voltage plasma reactors, optimize system efficiency, and refine high-temperature materials for real-world applications.
  • Drive Product Development – Translate market needs into innovative, scalable, and manufacturable product designs.
  • Own the Process – Manage suppliers, oversee manufacturing processes, and create technical documentation for production and field deployment.

What You Bring

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) minimum; advanced degrees a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience in product R&D, prototyping, and transitioning products to manufacturing.
  • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and thermal system design and integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling and mechanical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with testing, failure analysis, and real-world deployment.
  • Strong project management skills, including timeline development and progress tracking.
  • Automotive industry experience? That’s a huge plus!
  • A self-starter mindset – someone who thrives on solving problems and making things happen.
