Job Description
This role can be filled at the Entry, Mid-level, or Senior level. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level.
Expected salary range:
Entry Level: $82,500
Mid-Level: $88,000 - $108,000
Sr Level: $115,000- $141,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Complete task management of engineering issues.
- Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
- Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Entry Level E01 Engineer New Graduate:
B.S in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
Mid-level E02 Engineer:
B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and 2 years Nuclear or related engineering experience
Senior E03 Engineer:
B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and 5 years engineering experience
Demonstrated familiarity with Pressurized Water Reactors and their reactor vessel internals.
Demonstrated familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, specifically Sec XI.
Background in materials or materials engineering preferred.
Experience in mitigating Alloy 600.
Excellent project management skills.
Regulatory experience is preferred.
Salary : $115,000 - $141,000
