*Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Estimating Admin to join our dynamic team. The Estimating Admin will be responsible for reviewing plumbing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that all estimates are accurate and competitive.
*Duties*
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required plumbing fixtures
- Collaborate with lead Estimators on project estimates and proposals.
- Utilize estimating software such as Quickbooks or BuilderTrend to create comprehensive estimates.
- Gather pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
- Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid packages and presenting estimates to clients via email.
*Skills*
- Proficiency in navigating a computer system with many files.
- General knowledge of construction and plumbing preferred
- Familiarity with project management processes related to construction projects.
- Experience using Quickbooks or BuilderTrend
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
